American with knowledge of Russia seeks friendship.

I am seeking to start a friendship with an educated, interesting Russian lady - someone with a good heart, varied interests & compassion for others. The hope is simply that you and I will enjoy getting to know one another, and this will lead to wanting to be with one another more, and this will lead to our becoming a couple. I love Russia and the spirit of its people. It is a simple and elegant plan. I speak & read some Russian, so at the start that may help us communicate. I must also warn you that I love to hear Russian women speaking in their native language (it is beautiful and pleasant to my ears), while simultaneously I have to say honestly that they do not usually sound very pleasant when speaking English. Still, I will help you learn to speak perfect English. I have been to Russia several times and also consider it "rodina", though certainly not in the same sense as you do. I am optimistic, energetic, healthy, decent-looking (some say good-looking) and often put other people's needs ahead of my own (it is in my nature to serve others, and it is one thing that both brings me much happiness, along with being something that I can control in this life). I am a technically oriented person, who at the same time is dreamy, idealistic and romantic. You won't meet many people like me in your life. I am talkative and truly enjoy the company of others. I am not looking for miracles - just a woman who appreciates me for what I am. I am not expecting any red-hot romance, but love and friendship have always been important to me.
